Just a few days ago Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani inaugurated Gujarat’s first River Rafting activity in central Gujarat. This place located at Khalwani near Kevadiya colony and nearby the Statue of Unity. Kalyani is a name of the place which is located near the Sardar Sarovar Dam and Statue of Unity. The Government of Gujarat is planning to attract more tourist to the Statue of unity, and hence, they are in the process of opening more attraction in the area. River Rafting is one of them.
According to the government, this facility is developed with the help of an expert in Uttarakhand. It is another state of India located on the northern side. The river rafting will take possible 365 days of a year due to the regular income of 600 cusec water from Khalwani. From September 1st, it will also be open for the public.
